Lynn Rene Anderson (born September 26, 1947, Grand Forks, North Dakota) is an American country music singer and horse racer, best known for her Grammy Award-winning, country crossover mega-hit, “(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden.” Anderson was one of the most popular female country singers of the 1970s, helped by her regular exposure on national television. You’re My Man is a popular No. 1 Country hit by Country legend Lynn Anderson from 1971. This song was immediately released after Anderson’s song “(I Never Promised You A) Rose Garden” became a major country and pop hit in February 1971. “You’re My Man” was the song’s first follow-up to that hit.
